Our History

The Beginning of MBC...

Maineville Baptist Church started in 1821 by Elder Moses Dudley as a Maineville Freewill Baptist Church.  The original location was near the Maineville Cemetery.  In 1853 the first building (which is still part of our present facility) was erected.  Maineville Baptist Church has an amazing story behind its beginnings and why it came to be that you will want to view on our Youtube Page here: https://youtu.be/p_3vMT5_3Po.

Keeping the our focus on souls & the Mission...

Through the years, MBC has sought to build according to the principles that Christ laid out Himself in the Great Commission.
Acts 1:8 — 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
While we try to reach our community with the Gospel we also do our part to support missionaries around the world to share the good news that we enjoy so much.  Pastors of our church have often been missionaries themselves either before or after ministering at Maineville Baptist Church.

MBC Today...

MBC is not a church for a certain age group, class of people, or ethnicity.  It is a church for all people who are willing to come and learn about Christ, holding the Word of God as our Final Authority.  We will continue to preach and teach the Word of God as faithfully as possible without regard to present trends or popularity.  God said that is Word would endure to all generations, even to ours.
We hope that you will join us in order to experience Christ as we have in a real and abiding way as He meant for us.
